Martin Francisco Pareja Piaggio

My research focusses on how plant traits affect the interactions between plants and insects. I am particularly interested in how plant traits change after interactions with herbivores and how these changes can influence the structure of natural and agricultural communities.

Danilo Ciccone Miguel

My main interest in basic research is focused on understanding the mechanisms that allow Leishmania to survive in the intracellular environment. In our Lab, we also study the efficacy of several compounds aiming at the discovery of novel/repurposed drugs for leishmaniasis treatment.
